The MFVMA is a joint Master’s program in Applied Mathematics between University of Science, Vietnam National University – Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCMUS) and French higher education institutions, including:

⏳ Program Structure (12 months)
The program consists of two phases:
1. Phase 1: Coursework (8 months)
📚Content: Core courses and specialized courses in Applied Mathematics.
📍Location: University of Science – VNU-HCM, 227 Nguyen Van Cu Street, Cho Quan Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
🌏Faculty: Core courses are taught by Vietnamese lecturers; specialized courses are taught by French professors.
2. Phase 2: Master’s Thesis (4 months)
📚Content: Master’s thesis research and final defense.
📍 Location: France or Vietnam.
💰 Scholarships and Financial Support
The program provides financial support for students, including:
1. Entrance Scholarships & Academic Merit Scholarships
Awarded to students achieving good to excellent academic performance in Phase 1.
Total funding: Up to 180,000,000 VND per cohort.
Scholarship value: From 5,000,000 VND to 10,000,000 VND per award.
2. Support for Study and Research in France
Round-trip airfare (up to 40,000,000 VND per ticket per student).
Accommodation and essential living expenses in accordance with regulations of French universities (applicable during the thesis period in France).
